Would you like us to take care of that for you?

The list above is honest, but it takes work. We'll put it into action: writing titles and descriptions, fixing technical issues, and cleaning up content and internal links. Before we do that, we'll let you know what it costs and what you'll get out of it.

Questions About the SEO Check

What is checked, what the check cannot do, and what happens afterward.

What exactly does the SEO check evaluate?

We crawl your website like a search engine and follow the internal links, page by page. We analyze indexing and the robots.txt file, status codes and redirects, URL variations with and without "www," the sitemap, page titles and meta descriptions—including duplicates and lengths—heading structure, text volume, internal linking and orphaned pages, image alt text, anchor text, broken external links, structured data, mobile optimization, language, encryption, as well as the legal notice, privacy policy, and clickable phone number. We also include the homepage load time from Google PageSpeed Insights.

Is the entire website really being checked, or just the home page?

The entire website, as far as we can follow it via internal links and the sitemap. For very large websites, we stop after a certain number of pages and clearly state this in the results. During the scan, you can see in real time how many pages have already been scanned.

Does a high score mean we're at the top of Google's search results?

No. The score indicates how well you meet the basic requirements. Whether you end up on page one for “Electricians in Cologne” also depends on search terms, content, your Google Business Profile, reviews, and backlinks from other sites. No automated test can reliably measure that, and anyone who promises to do so is trying to sell you something.

Why do the results differ from those of other SEO tools?

Each tool is weighted differently. We sort by impact: A website that Google excludes using the "noindex" tag loses more points than twenty missing alt texts. That’s why the items at the top are always the ones that need to be fixed first, not the ones that occur most frequently.

Does the test put a strain on our server?

Hardly. We access the pages one after another with a short pause between each, respect your robots.txt file, and load only HTML—no images or videos. A typical visitor who clicks quickly puts more strain on the server.

Are you saving our address or the result?

The result is cached for ten minutes so that a second request doesn't have to crawl the data again; after that, it is discarded. The only way for us to receive data permanently is if you submit the request form—including the measurement values—so that we are prepared.

Can you put these points into practice as well?

Yes, that's exactly what the check is for. Send us the results using the form, and we'll let you know what we'll handle, what you can take care of yourself, and how much it will cost—all at a fixed price, before we get started.

The scan stops or doesn't find anything. Why is that?

Most of the time, a firewall or security plugin blocks external access, or the robots.txt file completely blocks crawling. Sometimes the URL also redirects multiple times. Check whether the page is accessible in your browser, and try again using the full URL, including https://.
