FAQs

Answers to the most frequently asked questions. About how we work, our services, and the typical project workflow.

How much does a website cost with you?
icon

We work with fixed prices, not hourly rates. You’ll know the cost before the project starts. No surprises, no additional charges. A rough guide: Standard corporate websites typically range from 4,000 to 7,000 €. More complex projects with custom features range from €10,000 to €20,000. Larger partnerships and platforms involving extensive in-house development can cost significantly more. We’ll provide you with the exact price after an initial consultation, during which we’ll clarify the scope and requirements. What we don’t do: wild guesses or “starting at €499” bait-and-switch offers.

How long does a typical project take?
icon

We estimate it will take 4 to 8 weeks from the initial briefing to go-live. This depends on the scope of the project and how quickly you can provide feedback and deliver content. More complex projects involving multiple languages or special integrations may take longer. We’ll give you a realistic timeline before we sign the contract—not just during implementation.

Who writes the text and provides the images?
icon

We’ll sort that out during our initial consultation. If you have your own text and photos, that’s great. If not, we’ll handle the copywriting ourselves or bring in experienced copywriters and photographers to work on the project. Important: Experience has shown that text and images are the most common cause of project delays. That’s why we address this early on—not just two weeks before the planned launch.

Are your websites compliant with the GDPR and the BFSG?
icon

Yes. Hosting in Germany, data protection-compliant analytics, proper cookie management, and a data processing agreement are all included. We also comply with the new Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG, effective June 2025) in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, to the extent that it applies to your business. Violations can result in fines of up to €100,000. We build our platforms so you don’t have to worry about that.

What happens after the go-live?
icon

Upon request, we can handle hosting, maintenance, updates, and minor content adjustments. We can bill you either on a per-task basis or through a monthly maintenance package. Neither option requires a minimum term. If you’d like to continue working on the project yourself, we’ll provide you with comprehensive documentation and train your team.

Who owns the website once the project is complete?
icon

Absolutely. You get the code, design files, login credentials—everything. You can even handle the hosting yourself if you want. We don't rely on any proprietary systems that tie you to us. If you ever want to continue working somewhere else, you can do so at any time.

What happens if the scope changes during the project?
icon

For fixed-price projects, we clarify the scope in advance in such detail that both parties know exactly what will be delivered. If you want to add new features or pages during the project, we’ll provide a clear, separate quote for them. No hidden surcharges, no late surprises on the invoice.
