A new idea, the trust we’ve always known.
The Kölner Wohnungsgenossenschaft eG has been providing housing in Cologne for more than a hundred years. With KWG Energie, a new service has been added: tenant electricity from its own solar power systems, directly for its tenants.
A legal topic that is not entirely straightforward had to be explained online in a way that tenants could understand without any prior knowledge.

We've created a website dedicated to tenant-generated electricity and green heat, featuring a detailed FAQ section that directly answers common questions. Sample contracts and the current price list are available for download.
